How It Works?

First, oxygen is added to the incoming water, which then passes through a compressed air bubble. Following this, the water flows through a specialized filter bed that is essential for under-sink water filtration, where the pH level is increased by the unique media. This media enhances iron removal by trapping iron precipitate. Over time, the media accumulates the filtered iron, initiating a regeneration process where the trapped iron is backwashed. The SIM operates more efficiently with water that has a high pH level, making it compatible with a whole home water softener. Additionally, the SIM is equipped with a check valve that prevents air from escaping the tank and is also enhanced with UV water disinfection capabilities to ensure safe and clean water.

It includes a daytime override feature and a durable stainless steel bypass valve.
